By Laura July 20, 2016

If you're not guilty of it yourself, I'm sure you know someone who has skipped breakfast in the hope it might help them control their weight.

However, a recent study has concluded that skipping the first meal of the day has no effect on weight loss at all. So whilst the experts say that it doesn't make you gain or lose a few pounds, it does set you into good habits for the day and increases your energy levels - making you a lot more likely to get active!

We all know a happy, healthy life is not about weight loss and more about your energy levels. They have a significant impact on your mood and the choices you make throughout the day, so make sure you remember this next time you sacrifice it for an extra 20 minutes in bed!  Want some healthy breakfast ideas?
