5 Chicken Recipes From The Team At Tasty

We love the guys over at Tasty (it's the cause for a lot of my time procrastinating at work).

We also love chicken - it's a healthy, affordable source of lean protein. However, sometimes you have to get a bit creative with it to keep things interesting. Luckily Tasty have loads of simple ways to spice up your chicken - check out these 5 easy chicken recipe videos! 


 1. Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken


1 tablespoon. olive oil
4 cloves garlic
1 pound baby carrots
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
½ cup balsamic vinegar
1 onion, sliced
1 pound green beans
fresh chopped parsley for garnish


2. Zucchini Noodle Chicken Alfredo
3 zucchini (courgette), ends trimmed
2 tablespoons butter
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
3 cloves garlic
¾ cup cream (or creme fraiche if you want to keep things lighter)
1 cup parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
3. Chicken Fajita Bombs
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 red pepper, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 yellow pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
4 ounces cream cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup diced pepper jack cheese
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons canola oil
Salsa, sour cream, and guacamole for serving
4. Chicken Lo Mein
4 servings of egg noodles
3 Tbsp. of hoisin sauce
1/4 cup of chicken broth
2 Tbsp. of soy sauce
2 tsp of sesame oil
1 tsp of cornstarch
1 Tbsp. of vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. of ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 medium onion, sliced
1/2 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup of carrots, sliced
1/2 cup of sugar snap peas, halved
1 lb of chicken breast, sliced
chopped scallions for garnish
5. One-Pot Teriyaki Chicken and Rice
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 chicken breasts, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger
2 cups + 1/4 cup water
1 cup white rice, rinsed
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 cup honey
2-3 tablespoon sriracha
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup broccoli
1 cup carrots
1/2 red bell pepper
scallions for garnish (optional)
