First things first, as always both are great choices when it comes to healthy eating. Although quinoa has over double the amount of fat of brown rice, it's protein super powers make it great for people trying to get more "real" protein in their diet and a fantastic staple for vegetarians. When it comes to cost brown rice wins hands down at £1.75 per kg compared to a wallet busting £7.34 per kg for quinoa. So is the extra protein really worth the extra cost? We're undecided!
