The wall and the mat. Two very different challenges, two very different activities…. Or are they? Many pin adrenaline junkies to climbing and assign zen, meditative states to the art of yoga, making them seem as far apart as possible. But now is the time to shake off those misconceptions and find out why they actually make the perfect match!
Welcome to the official countdown to Christmas! As the chilly days finally click over into December and we bust out the first window of our advent calendars (or protein calendars), we can now officially jingle our bells and deck our halls. The festive season is here… and so are the hectic schedules.
Have winter’s frosty mornings, dark evenings and de-icing your car got you pining for warmer climates? Same here. But winter doesn’t have to be a time to hibernate from your fitness - it can be the perfect time to escape to the sun and focus on your fitness!
As dawn breaks and your alarm clock kicks off, you go to get up and realise that your body is as stiff as a board and your muscles are real sore. You suddenly feel like you’ve aged 20+ years overnight and struggle to get out of bed…
The deep freeze is on its way. With misty mornings, dark evenings and frost-fringed gardens already creeping into our lives, it's time to revamp your winter gear. Spruce up your activewear wardrobe for the colder months!
When it comes to fitness, there are two types of people: those who embrace the long hot days of summer, and are motivated by upcoming summer holidays to explore new fitness activities. And those who train the whole year round, come rain or snow, keeping their fitness as a long-term health investment.
As the wind takes on a sharper temperature, we’re all bound to be stricken with a snotty cold or feverish flu at some point in the coming months. Getting sick is the worst, especially when it feels like it’s putting you out of action.
We all want to be a success, but remember: success isn’t gifted. It’s earned. You have to work hard to succeed in life and the habits you accumulate can impact your achievements, and generally leave more of an impression on your life than you may think.
